The racing will include straight speed trails, slaloms and parking challenges.
Each day, children learn about relevant aspects of science and engineering, such as speed, forces, aerofoils and gears – through simple hands on experiments.
On the final afternoon, parents are welcome to come and watch the children race – and may even get a two-minute trial of driving the car (if the children will let them!).
At Design Build Race (DBR) children, in teams of 4 and supervised by 1 tutor, will build their own car – designing and implementing its appearance. They will also spend two days racing their car against the other teams on the camp.
